Elissa Wall

Elissa Wall filed a lawsuit in December of 2005 against FLDS Leader Warren Jeffs for forcing her into an underage marriage to her first cousin Allen Steed. Elissa Wall was 14 at the time of the forced marriage and despite her desperate pleas to her family and to Warren Jeffs she was “sealed” to her 19 year old cousin where she was then raped until her brave espape from the FLDS community.

Elissa Wall succeeded in her law suit against Warren Jeffs, who is now serving time in prison after being found guilty of assisted rape. Warren Jeffs later confessed that he deceived the FLDS community into believing that he was the profit but the FLDS community still continues to follow him.

Elissa Wall’s book “Stolen Innoccence: My Story of Growing Up in a Polygamous Sect, Becoming a Teenage Bride, and Breaking Free of Warren Jeffs” has recently made the Best Seller list.
